Ontario Closes All Non-Essential Business as Covid-19 Control Measure
Yesterday, the Government of Ontario announced that all non-essential services must be suspended for two weeks effective midnight today (Tuesday), with the possibility of an extension. A similar announcement was also made by the Government of Quebec where they mandated closure to April 13, 2020.
Here is how these new measures will affect Lactanet operations in Ontario.
Milk Recording Services Suspended
Effective midnight tonight, we will no longer be offering any on farm services, including sample pick up or data collection. In addition, our Guelph lab and office facilities will be closed.
DairyComp Support is NOT Affected
Work that can be conducted at home will continue. This means that DairyComp and FeedWatch support, as well as our Customer Service Desk teams will still be available to answer your questions or provide any necessary assistance.
I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this service disruption may cause, however, your Lactanet team will do our part to help to “flatten the curve” in Ontario and help minimize the impact of COVID-19 on our business and our lives.
Thank you for your understanding,
Neil Petreny, CEO
